By Light is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with a passion for creating high-quality, scalable web applications. This role requires a deep understanding of modern web technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Implement user-facing elements with a focus on user experience and interface design.
• Integrate user-facing applications with server-side logic and databases.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Mentor and guide junior developers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong experience with server-side templating languages and JavaScript libraries.
• Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.

Clearance Requirements

Active Secret clearance required.
