Job Summary

We are seeking a Healthcare Business Analyst with 2–3 years of experience in business analysis and healthcare-related projects. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of healthcare workflows, requirements gathering, business process analysis, and functional documentation. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze requirements, support system enhancements, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for healthcare IT projects.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, healthcare operations teams, and IT professionals to understand business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.

• Analyze healthcare workflows and business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.

• Support healthcare system implementations, enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.

• Develop test scenarios and test cases, participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), document defects, and coordinate issue resolution.

• Analyze business data and prepare reports to support operational decisions and process improvements.

• Track project activities, maintain project documentation, and communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

• Work with cross-functional teams to validate requirements and ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.

Required Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in healthcare IT or healthcare operations.

• Understanding of healthcare workflows, business processes, and healthcare information systems.

• Experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and functional documentation.

• Familiarity with BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.

• Exposure to UAT, test case preparation, functional testing, and defect tracking.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Must be willing to relocate to client locations as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to healthcare domains such as claims processing, medical billing, provider operations, payer systems, or clinical workflows.

• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), or healthcare information systems.

• Basic understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy requirements.

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Basic SQL knowledge or experience with data analysis and reporting.
