The Role

• Fabricate and install large and small-bore pipework systems using various materials (copper, cuni, carbon steel, stainless steel).
• Operate hand tools and mechanical equipment for cutting, bending, and welding pipes.
• Install and assemble fittings, valves, and related components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with other trades to ensure project completion.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, company procedures, and maintain accurate work records.
• Install utilities such as sinks, showers, and toilets aboard vessels.

What You'll Need

• Possess a Modern Apprenticeship or Trade Papers (SVQ3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification).
• Proven experience in pipe manufacturing and installation, utilizing relevant tools and equipment for major projects.
• Solid understanding of pipefitting methods, safe working practices, and trade-standard techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, pipework diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of SHE, COSHH, and risk assessment requirements and their consistent application.
• Previous experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar trade within an industrial or commercial setting.
