Pipefitter | Motherwell, United Kingdom | On-site | £38,662 plus shift allowance

The Role
- Fabricate and install large and small-bore pipework systems using various materials (copper, cuni, carbon steel, stainless steel).
- Operate hand tools and mechanical equipment for cutting, bending, and welding pipes.
- Install and assemble fittings, valves, and related components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with other trades to ensure project completion.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company procedures, and maintain accurate work records.
- Install utilities such as sinks, showers, and toilets aboard vessels.
What You'll Need
- Possess a Modern Apprenticeship or Trade Papers (SVQ3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification).
- Proven experience in pipe manufacturing and installation, utilizing relevant tools and equipment for major projects.
- Solid understanding of pipefitting methods, safe working practices, and trade-standard techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, pipework diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of SHE, COSHH, and risk assessment requirements and their consistent application.
- Previous experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar trade within an industrial or commercial setting.
