ON SITE per week: Hybrid with one day/week ON SITE required
Short Term - 20 hrs/week for 8 weeks (160 hrs total)

Interviews: Initial TEAMS IV then follow up IV will be IN PERSON
Pls Note: 20 Hours a week, for 8 weeks (total Hours 160). IT Sourcing Consultant will lead the VITA sole sourcing process. This would include ensuring all the required forms and documents for a sole sourced cloud hosted system are completed, evaluation of proposals and in execution of agreed upon negotiations strategy with suppliers, leads evaluation and execution of risk mitigation strategies and establishes solid
contracts that are in the long-term best interest of the customer, has responsibility for managing customer expectations for project deliverables through effective and timely communications, conducts a post-project lessons learned reviews with the customers to promote

knowledge transfer and customer satisfaction.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The IT Sourcing Consultant needed for the Board of Accountancy as the pursue a sole- source licensing and enforcement system. The role requires the ability to work independently on tasks but lead the team to success.
This role will function to lead the VITA sole sourcing process. This would include ensuing all the required forms and documents for a sole sourced cloud hosted system are completed. evaluation of proposals and in execution of agreed upon negotiations strategy with selected suppliers. Leads evaluation and execution of risk mitigation strategies and establishes solid contracts that are in the long-term best interest of the customer. Has responsibility for managing customer expectations for project deliverables through effective and timely communications. Conducts a post-project lessons learned reviews with the customers to promote knowledge transfer and customer satisfaction
Responsibilities Include: Managing a sole-sourced procurement process by working with the VBOA team, VITA cloud solutions and project management office and project management office and with the vendor. This includes ensuring the requirements are understood to negotiate a fair priced contract with clear deliverables.
Required (min 8 yrs in each):
Deep industry experience (within procurement and supplier management) including cloud solutions.
Experience with contract and vendor negotiation
technical writing and requirements gathering
Desired:
Knowledge of VA public procurement laws
Knowledge of VITA cloud hosted security protocols and requirements.
