Backend Java Developer or Full Stack Developer – JPMC

Location: Columbus, OH; Wilmington, DE
Type: Contract-to-Hire


We are seeking a hands-on Backend Java Developer to support a highly technical internal Fraud Risk application.

Must Have

  • Strong Java and Spring Boot
  • Microservices and REST APIs
  • Hands-on AWS experience
  • AWS: S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR, EKS
  • Strong SQL and database troubleshooting
  • Application debugging and production support experience
  • Agile/Scrum experience

Nice to Have

  • Snowflake / Data Warehouse
  • ETL / Batch Processing
  • Terraform
  • AI/ML or GitHub Copilot experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance backend applications using Java/Spring Boot.
  • Build and maintain microservices and REST APIs.
  • Work with AWS cloud services and batch-processing applications.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries.
  • Troubleshoot application and production issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering, platform, compliance, and business teams.
