IT Hardware Technician/ IT Technician/ Data Center Technician

Position Details:

Title: IT Hardware Technician/ IT Technician/ Data Center Technician

Duration: 3+ Months (Potential extension+ Conversion to FTE possible)

Location: Montreal,QC- Onsite

Compensation: $23-$25 Hour

Interview Process: 1 Round

Day To Day:

• Responding to high-severity events within SLAs


• Participate in Data Center power & cooling events


• Break-fix of servers and network devices


• Troubleshooting of network connections


• Coordinating and building relationships with various Data Center teams


• Interact with third party vendors & contractors


• Seeking out ways to improve yourself and the processes and systems with which you work


• Contribute to the development of other team members

Must Have:

• Need a car to go between sites


• 1 - 3 year (Hardware networking skills/ entry level)


• Hardware - troubleshoot CPU, maintenance on break fix activity, motherboard, hard drive, memory , power shelfs (PSU/ power supplies) maintain and replace hardware


• Software - Windows (Linux is a plus) scripting is a plus.


• Bilingual - Fluent in French and English is needed. (understanding and communicate)


• Good written and oral skills (follow workflows)


• Thinking outside of the box to troubleshoot a situation


• Open to weekends/ rotational shifts
