This employer is seeking a skilled Schlosser / Metallbauer als Monteur to contribute to critical infrastructure projects across southeastern Germany. You will play a key role in the construction and modernization of substations, directly impacting the energy transition and achieving climate protection goals. The Role

• Assembly of steel structures in medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations (up to 380 kV).
• Installation of high and medium voltage equipment and electrical systems.
• Mounting of components such as HV clamps, suspension, and supporting insulators.
• Assembly and disassembly of bolted and crimped connections, including pipe and cable assembly.
• Updating and revising plan documents for ongoing projects.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training as a locksmith, metalworker, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, plant mechanic, or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in locksmithing, preferably within construction, mechanical engineering, energy technology, or the metal processing industry.
• Experience working with electrical installations is advantageous.
• A valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel to job sites with a personal vehicle.
• Readiness for regular on-site assignments, including overnight stays.
• Good German language skills and a self-motivated, responsible work ethic.
