Sales / Business Development Manager — Professional Staffing
A staffing and recruiting company is seeking a Sales / Business Development Manager to grow its professional contract staffing and direct hire business. This role focuses on developing new client relationships, identifying hiring opportunities, and delivering recruiting solutions for skilled, professional, and management positions. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional who can engage decision-makers, understand their workforce needs, and turn new relationships into long-term business partnerships.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities for contract staffing and direct hire services. Connect with hiring managers, human resources leaders, and executives through outreach, networking, referrals, and meetings. Understand prospective clients’ hiring needs, business priorities, and recruiting challenges. Negotiate rates, placement fees, and service agreements within company guidelines. Maintain client relationships, secure repeat business, and expand services within existing accounts.

Build and manage a sales pipeline, document activity in the CRM, and meet established sales and revenue goals. Demonstrated success in business development or B2B sales, preferably within staffing, recruiting, or professional services. Understanding of contract staffing and direct hire recruiting. Ability to develop new accounts and build relationships with business decision-makers. Strong organizational skills and experience managing a sales pipeline through a CRM. Staffing industry experience and an established professional network are preferred.
