Job Description

Job Title: Manual Functional Tester

Location: Boston , Massachusetts

Visa : & USC (Contract)

Work Model: Onsite (4 days per week)

Mandatory Skills :

  • Manual Functional Testing (Capital Markets Domain)
  • Prefer Experience with State Street Client
  • Experience in SQL and Agile methodologies

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong experience in Financial Services
  • Experience with AI is an added advantage

Job Description :-

  • Core Skills: Functional Testing (Capital Markets understanding).
  • Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience using Jira for sprint tracking and test management, including test case design, test execution, and comprehensive defect documentation
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for backend data validation and test data analysis
  • 6+ years of Functional/SQA Testing
  • Strong Capital Markets / Asset Management domain experience.
    • Previous State Street experience is prefer.
  • Strong experience with Manual Functional Testing.
  • Mainframe Testing experience in banking/financial applications.
  • Experience testing Java-based enterprise applications.
  • Strong SQL skills for backend/data validation.
  • Experience with Functional, Integration, Regression, System & UAT testing.
  • Strong Agile/Scrum + Jira
  • Experience creating/executing test cases and test plans.
  • Defect identification, tracking, triage, and retesting.
  • Experience working with Developers, BAs, Product Owners.
  • Understanding of SDLC/STLC.
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience.
