Job Title : SS&C ChorAWD Analyst

Duration : Long-Term Contract

Location : Hybrid Owings Mills, MD

Job Description:

The Client, a Fortune 500 investment firm is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support its SS&C Chorus (formerly AWD) development team. This role partners directly with back-office business operations heavy users of Chorus to gather requirements, update workflows, validate data, and support an upcoming platform upgrade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between back-office business partners and the SS&C Chorus development team.
  • Lead requirements gathering, workflow analysis, and documentation for enhancements, configuration updates, and process changes.
  • Support and participate in the SS&C Chorus upgrade, a major three-month initiative each year.
  • Collaborate with a small development team (3 engineers) working on configuration changes, API calls, and backend interactions.
  • Conduct testing (10 15%) to validate data and confirm functionality of SS&C deliverables.
  • Maintain clear communication with business stakeholders to ensure alignment on needs, timelines, and priorities.
  • Operate within a Kanban delivery model.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on SS&C Chorus / AWD BPM experience (candidates without this experience will be rejected).
  • Strong background interfacing with business users and translating needs into technical requirements.
  • Experience creating workflows, documentation, and user stories.
  • Familiarity with validating data and testing deliverables (manual testing no automation).
  • Ability to work onsite 2 days per week.
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Blue Prism.
  • Exposure to backend interactions or API-driven environments (not required).
