About the role

In this role, you will administer and maintain enterprise database environments, focusing on performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management. You will also provide technical expertise in database and data warehouse design, ensuring robust, scalable, and high-performing data solutions.

Role Responsibilities

• Provides expert guidance in the selection, provision and use of database and data warehouse architectures, software and facilities.
• Ensures design policies optimise transactional data systems for performance and availability while meeting the needs of business intelligence and analytics platform

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in database administration across enterprise environments, with strong expertise in database architecture, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, and data warehouse solutions.

Security Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current NV2 or TSPV Security Clearance.

Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment screening checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification, and any other client-requested checks.
