Job Description

Senior Windows Infrastructure Engineer - Enterprise SOE & Server Support

Compas is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain enterprise Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server environments across a large-scale national ICT environment. This role suits an experienced infrastructure specialist with strong Windows SOE, troubleshooting, documentation and operational support skills.

Location: ACT, Contract

Duration: 12 months, with extension options up to a maximum of 24 months

Security Clearance Requirement: Current NV1 clearance required

Closing Date: 10:00am, Monday, 18 May 2026

Essential Tasks
  • Maintain and support Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support for project build, test and deployment activities.
  • Perform regular maintenance, updates and operational support for ICT solutions.
  • Support backups, disaster recovery planning, incident resolution and root cause analysis.
Key Criteria
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server operating systems.
  • Ability to document technical information and provide advice to management.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft Windows environments.
  • Experience building Windows Desktop SOE in an enterprise environment.
