Position Summary
The
Counter Sales & Conversion Specialist supports company growth by managing sales opportunities, assisting walk-in customers, processing orders and estimates, and maintaining excellent customer relationships. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude to help grow sales and improve customer satisfaction. Training and advancement opportunities are available within our sales team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Counter Sales Functions:
Assist walk-in customers in product sales and will-call order pickups
Release pending orders and follow up with customers to confirm needs
Look up parts and provide pricing and availability quotes
Maintain inventory displays
Handle overflow phone calls to enhance customer service
Support retention of key accounts and perform other duties as assigned
Conversion Specialist Functions:
Follow up on open estimates and convert them into sales opportunities
Confirm and process customer quotes and orders
Make outbound calls to prospective leads
Use internal databases to look up parts, check availability, and suggest products/services
Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer records and follow the company’s sales processes
Monitor and report lost sales to management
Adhere to company policies and deliver excellent customer service
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with order management systems
Bilingual a plus – Spanish and English
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic math and typing skills
Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening
