Investment Banking Industrials Vice President

A leading elite boutique investment bank is seeking to add a Vice President to its Industrials team in New York. This is an opportunity to join a highly active franchise with strong momentum across M&A, strategic advisory, and capital markets assignments, working directly alongside senior bankers on complex, high-profile transactions.

The team advises a broad range of industrial companies and financial sponsors across sectors including Aerospace & Defense, Building Products, Industrial Technology, Transportation & Logistics, Distribution, Diversified Industrials, and Business Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead execution of M&A, strategic advisory, and capital markets transactions from inception through closing.
• Manage financial analyses, valuation work, and transaction materials.
• Oversee Associates and Analysts while maintaining a hands-on role in execution.
• Coordinate due diligence processes and interact directly with clients, buyers, investors, and other advisors.
• Support senior bankers in business development efforts, client presentations, and relationship management.
• Take meaningful ownership of transaction workstreams and serve as a key point of contact throughout the deal process.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of investment banking experience.
• Prior Industrials coverage experience strongly preferred.
• Significant M&A transaction execution experience.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple live transactions simultaneously.
• Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
