Position Summary

Cadence is seeking an onsite SAP SD and RAR Analyst to own Order-to-Cash (SD) and Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR) support and enhancements on SAP ECC 6.0. The role works closely with Revenue Accounting, Order Management, Billing, Tax, and the global IT team to keep revenue recognition accurate, compliant, and on time. Experience with S/4HANA implementation or migration is a strong advantage, as We are preparing its ECC to S/4HANA conversion.

Key Responsibilities

Run & Support (ECC)

·       L2/L3 support for SD (order management, pricing, billing, credit, output) and RAR (contracts, POBs, revenue schedules, posting)

·       Support month-end and quarter-end revenue close: RAI processing, RAR posting runs, SD-RAR-FI reconciliation, error resolution

·       Handle manual POB and contract adjustments; drive root-cause fixes to reduce manual effort

·       Manage incidents and changes under SOX/ITGC controls; provide audit evidence

·       Work onsite with Revenue Accounting and Order Management teams; act as the primary SD/RAR contact during US business hours

Integration & Enhancements

·       Support integrations: Salesforce to SAP order flow, HighRadius, Taxware/Sovos tax, middleware (Boomi), IDocs/BAPIs

·       Support regulatory and tax changes impacting billing (e.g., California SB 122)

·       Write functional specifications for RICEFW objects; partner with ABAP developers through build and test

·       Gather requirements from Revenue Accounting, Order Management, Tax, and Finance stakeholders

S/4HANA Readiness (as assigned)

·       Contribute SD and RAR input to S/4HANA fit-gap, simplification item, and custom code impact assessments

·       Support RAR migration planning (Classic RAR to S/4 Contract Management, CCM to OCM), mock conversion validation, and reconciliation

·       Support Customer to Business Partner (CVI) and Credit Management (FSCM) readiness for Order-to-Cash

·       Participate in testing (unit, SIT, UAT), cutover rehearsals, and review of SI/vendor designs

Required Qualifications

·       8-10 years SAP SD experience, including 3+ years hands-on SAP RAR configuration and support

·       RAR: IFRS 15/ASC 606, POBs, SSP, price allocation, POC and event-based fulfilment, contract combination and modification, RAI processing

·       SD: pricing, billing, credit management, output, intercompany billing, SD-FI integration (account determination)

·       Ability to analyze tables, IDocs, and basic ABAP debugging

·       Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills

·       Able to work onsite at [San Jose, CA] five days per week

·       Authorized to work in the United States [without sponsorship, now or in the future]

Preferred (Added Advantage)

·       S/4HANA implementation or ECC to S/4HANA migration experience (full lifecycle in SD and/or RAR)

·       S/4HANA RAR with Optimized Contract Management (OCM) and Fiori Manage Revenue Contracts

·       Customer to Business Partner (CVI) conversion and FSCM Credit Management

·       Software, subscription, or license business models (EDA/semiconductor/software industry a plus)

·       Tax engines (Taxware/Sovos, Vertex), Salesforce and HighRadius integration

·       SOX-regulated environment experience

·       SAP certification in SD, RAR, or S/4HANA Sales
