Full Stack Developer (Golang, AWS)

£40,000 to £60,000 plus benefits

We are looking for talented Go Programmers to join a fast-growing technology business, who have recently benefitted from a multi-million £ investment to grow their Engineering function.

Working alongside a small, cross-functional team of Golang Software Developers, you will play a key role in the continued development of one of their key, customer-facing platforms used by enterprise, house-hold name brands. You will get the opportunity to take full ownership of your projects, taking work from the first conversation through to it running in production - rather than passing it down the line.

On a typical day, you will be designing Go services and the APIs, keeping the distributed side healthy in the cloud (AWS) and building the automated and regression tests that let releases go out clean. You will work closely with Product and with the people dealing with partners day to day and get the satisfaction of seeing your work used regularly.

As our ideal candidate, you will have written Go in production, with around five years or more of backend engineering behind you and strong computer science fundamentals, most of it on distributed systems. REST APIs built to carry real load, work in AWS, Agile delivery, and API security.

Whilst this role leans towards the backend, some frontend experience in modern Javascript frameworks such as React, Vue or Svelte, is highly advantageous.
