Roles and Responsibilities

The PMO Support Quality Specialist Mid serves as the primary point of contact for engineering quality and product-related incidents. In this role, the specialist drives root cause analysis of quality issues and recommends and implements cost-effective permanent corrective actions. They continuously analyse quality data from various indicators, manage engineering changes alongside cross-functional teams, and execute product evaluation tests to guarantee product robustness prior to full-scale rollout. Representing the Voice of the Customer to platform teams, the specialist leads standardization initiatives, ensures the delivery of third-party quality metrics, and navigates cross-functional dynamics to remove obstacles and align project execution with overarching business goals.

Required Qualifications

·         Broad knowledge of automotive engineering, manufacturing, and quality processes.

·         Hands-on experience performing root cause analysis using advanced problem-solving tools (e.g., Kepner-Tregoe, Shainin Red X, Design of Experiments).

·         Experience analyzing quality data from internal/external indicators and managing engineering changes cross-functionally.

·         Proven track record of conducting product evaluation tests to validate product or process changes before full implementation.

·         Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, set goals, and manage multiple projects within a lean organizational structure.

·         High energy, strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and present to senior leadership without direct authority.
