Job Description

Due to continued growth, a leading Technical FM & HVAC specialist is looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join its expanding Service Division covering the Central belt on a full time permanent basis.


Working across a varied portfolio including luxury hotels, hospitality, student accommodation, large office buildings and retail environments, you'll carry out planned maintenance, reactive breakdowns and fault finding on a wide range of commercial air conditioning and HVAC systems.


What's on Offer?


Up to £48,000 Basic Salary

Paid travel time (paid at x1.5 after 30mins)

Company Van with Personal Use

Overtime Available (paid at x2 all weekend)

The Role:


Service, maintenance and repair of commercial air conditioning and HVAC systems.

PPMs and reactive breakdowns across split systems, multi-splits, VRV/VRF systems and associated HVAC plant.

Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Carry out installation, commissioning and maintenance of AC equipment where required.

Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults across HVAC systems and associated controls.

Carry out F-Gas compliance, leak testing and refrigerant handling in accordance with current regulations.

Complete service reports, identify remedial works and provide reactive quotations where required.


What We're Looking For:


Recognised apprenticeship or relevant Air Conditioning/Refrigeration qualification.

Valid F-Gas Category 1 qualification.

Strong fault-finding and servicing experience on commercial air conditioning systems.

Experience working with split, multi-split and VRV/VRF systems.

Good all-round HVAC and electrical fault-finding knowledge.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Full UK Driving Licence.
