Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead .NET Full Stack Developer to lead the design, development, modernization, and support of enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL Server, Azure/AWS, microservices, and CI/CD.

This position requires a combination of strong technical development skills and technical leadership. The Lead Developer will work closely with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, security teams, and other developers to deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable applications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and production support of enterprise web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core/.NET 6+, MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework Core.
Design and develop modern front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and responsive UI frameworks.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices supporting enterprise applications and system integrations.
Provide technical leadership, perform code reviews, establish coding standards, and mentor junior and senior developers.
Participate in application architecture, technical design discussions, estimation, sprint planning, and solution reviews.
Develop reusable components, services, libraries, and common application frameworks.
Design and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, queries, indexes, and data-access components.
Implement application security using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, RBAC, and Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD.
Integrate applications with internal and external systems using REST APIs, messaging platforms, and event-driven architecture.
Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, API, and UI tests.
Build and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar technologies.
Containerize applications using Docker and support deployments to Kubernetes/AKS/EKS environments.
Support cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure and/or AWS services.
Troubleshoot application, API, database, performance, infrastructure, and production issues.
Implement centralized logging, monitoring, and application telemetry using tools such as Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Splunk, ELK, or CloudWatch.
Participate in application modernization efforts, including migration of legacy ASP.NET/.NET Framework applications to modern .NET platforms.
Work with security teams to identify and remediate application vulnerabilities and dependency issues.
Follow secure software-development practices aligned with OWASP, NIST Secure Software Development Framework (SSDF), and DevSecOps principles.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
Coordinate technical activities across development, QA, DevOps, architecture, and infrastructure teams.
Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and operational support documentation.

Required Technical Skills

Backend: C#, .NET Core, .NET 6/7/8+, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, REST APIs, Microservices
Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, RxJS, Angular Material
Database: SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Entity Framework; experience with PostgreSQL or Oracle is a plus
Cloud: Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
DevOps: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
Security: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, RBAC, Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID, OWASP, secure coding practices
Testing: xUnit/NUnit, Moq, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, API testing, integration testing
Architecture: Microservices, RESTful architecture, distributed systems, design patterns, SOLID principles, dependency injection, event-driven architecture

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
10+ years of software-development experience, with significant hands-on experience in Microsoft .NET technologies.
5+ years of experience developing modern web applications using ASP.NET Core/.NET Core and Angular.
Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, and enterprise application architecture.
Experience leading development teams and providing technical direction and mentorship.
Strong understanding of relational databases and advanced SQL development.
Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and automated deployment pipelines.
Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience modernizing legacy .NET Framework/ASP.NET applications to .NET 6/8+.
Experience with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, Application Insights, AKS, API Management, and Azure SQL.
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or AWS SQS/SNS.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
Experience working in highly regulated enterprise environments such as healthcare, financial services, insurance, or government.
Familiarity with SSRS/Power BI reporting is a plus.
Experience implementing DevSecOps, vulnerability remediation, automated security scanning, and application performance monitoring.
