Oracle EBS R12 Developer
Hybrid | Austin, TX | Contract (24 months)
Robert Half is partnering with a client to hire an Oracle EBS Developer to support a 2-year project. This position supports enterprise-scale ERP enhancement efforts with a focus on Oracle E-Business Suite solutions that enable supply chain, manufacturing, inventory, and order management operations. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable integrations, tailored application updates, and scalable technical solutions in an onsite environment.
Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver custom Oracle EBS components, including reports, interfaces, data conversions, extensions, forms, and workflow-related solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance integrations between Oracle applications and external systems using standard and customized APIs.
• Build service-based solutions that enable timely and accurate data exchange across connected business platforms.
• Partner with functional users, analysts, and technical team members to translate business needs into effective application designs.
• Investigate system defects, perform root cause analysis, and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Support application improvements tied to supply chain, fulfillment, inventory, and manufacturing processes.
• Contribute to iterative development efforts by participating in Agile ceremonies, technical planning, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of technical experience in Oracle EBS R12 environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of Order Management (OM), Bills of Materials(BOM), Work in Process (WIP), and Shipping Execution (WSH) and working experience with underlying tables, views, standard APIs, and concurrent programs.
• Strong capability in API development and integration design for enterprise applications.
• Experience interpreting and working from business requirement documentation.
• Knowledge of configuration management practices within structured development environments.
• Familiarity with client-side scripting as part of application customization or interface support.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and deliver solutions across multiple system environments.
• Strong collaboration skills for working with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Required skills: Oracle EBS R12 within SCM - OM, BOM, WIP, and WSH; Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, SQL Loader, Forms, Reports, Workflow Builder, and BI/XML; APIs / REST APIs; Agile
