Senior Full Stack Engineer - TypeScript/React/Node/Healthcare

Job Description
An early-stage health tech company is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join its growing engineering team.
This role offers the opportunity to work across the full software development lifecycle, building scalable applications, internal tools, integrations, and platform capabilities that support critical healthcare workflows. As part of a small, fast-moving team, you will have significant ownership over product development and technical decision-making.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating across teams, and building software that is secure, reliable, and scalable. Experience developing applications in regulated environments with a strong focus on security, privacy, compliance, and data protection is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications and features.
• Build and maintain frontend, backend, and API-driven solutions.
• Design scalable data models and system integrations with a focus on long-term maintainability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience building and supporting production web applications.
• Proficiency with modern frontend technologies such as TypeScript, React, and Node
• Experience working on cloud infrastructure in AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience developing backend services, APIs, and database-driven applications.
• Knowledge of application security best practices, authentication, authorization, and data protection principles.
• Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments with changing priorities.

Desired Skills

• Experience working in healthcare, healthtech, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar standards.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM technologies, including integrations and workflow automation.
• Experience with mobile application development, including React Native, iOS, or Android.
