Job Description
We are partnering with a large Facilities Services Provider looking for a Technical Facilities Manager in Melbourne to deliver maintenance, repair and minor works services to several buildings across Melbourne CBD, Docklands and Southbank, ensuring building services plant and equipment is reliable, safe, compliant, and fully operational.
The RoleLead and coordinate maintenance operations, optimising asset performance while leading and managing a small team and ensuring full compliance with best practice and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of direct and contractor staff across buildings in Melbourne CBD, Docklands and Southbank.
- You will manage maintenance services, repair and minor works to $1 million.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC Building Services plant.
- Actively contribute to and support business transformation initiatives.
- Ensure accurate alignment of work orders with timesheets and reporting systems.
- Oversee contractor safety and compliance, including SWMS and adherence to the company's Risk Protocols.
- Proactively manage team and contractor performance, monitoring and driving key monthly KPIs.
- Maintain contractual compliance through site inspections, raising work orders or quotes as required.
- Manage client requests and feedback, delivering timely resolutions and clear communication.
- Hold Full Australian Work Rights (no sponsorship available).
- Be able to secure a clear National Police Check and any Site-Specific Clearances
- Experience working across large complex facilities: - University, Hospital, Data Centre is an advantage.
- Have a Cert III (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC or Fire Trade).
- 5+ years Facilities or Supervisory experience in Australia, working to Australian Codes, Standards and Regulations.
- A valid Australian Driver's license
- Be able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
