DevOps Engineer (Databricks Platform - AWS)

Experience: 5-10 years overall, with 3-5+ years of hands-on Databricks platform administration in AWS production environments

Key Requirements:

Strong hands-on Databricks platform administration in production

Strong AWS experience – IAM, VPC, S3, EC2, KMS, CloudWatch

Experience managing Databricks workspaces, clusters, cluster policies, instance pools, and DBR upgrades

Strong experience with Unity Catalog, RBAC, Service Principals, Secret Scopes, and PATs

Hands-on Terraform / Infrastructure as Code

Strong CI/CD, Git, and DevOps experience

Experience with cloud networking, security, scalability, and high availability

Strong production troubleshooting, monitoring, and incident management

Experience with Databricks cost optimization and governance

Strong system design and architecture experience

Important: This is primarily a Databricks Platform Engineering / Administration role, not a Databricks Data Engineering or Analytics Development role.
