DevOps Engineer

job summary:

We are seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to drive automation, reliability, and continuous delivery across our cloud-native platforms. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to design deployment pipelines, optimize infrastructure, and enhance platform scalability using Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable application releases.
• Manage progressive delivery strategies including Blue-Green and Canary deployments.
• Provision and automate infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications running on Kubernetes (GKE).
• Implement system observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response best practices.

qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.

Proven experience automating pipelines with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Harness).

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and GKE.

Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and progressive release strategies (Blue-Green / Canary).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience supporting large-scale production environments.

Hands-on familiarity with GitOps practices and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Datadog).

Exposure to cloud security, cost optimization, or AI-assisted operations.
