Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team supporting a large-scale enterprise environment for United Airlines. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, microservices, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and application monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Amazon EKS/Kubernetes.

• Work extensively with AWS services, EC2, and microservices-based architectures.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Harness.

• Implement deployment automation and DevOps best practices across development, testing, and production environments.

• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Datadog and Dynatrace.

• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent solutions.

• Collaborate closely with application developers, architects, QA, security, and infrastructure teams.

• Support cloud migration, application modernization, and microservices deployment initiatives.

• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions across AWS environments.

• Ensure infrastructure and deployment processes follow enterprise security, reliability, and compliance standards.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud.

• Strong experience with AWS DevOps and cloud infrastructure.

• Experience working with AWS Microservices architecture.

• Strong experience with Amazon EKS / Kubernetes.

• Hands-on experience with AWS EC2.

• Strong experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.

• Experience with Harness for CI/CD and deployment automation.

• Hands-on experience with Datadog for monitoring and observability.

• Experience with Dynatrace for application and infrastructure monitoring.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Experience troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure and application issues.

• Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, availability, and performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or production environments.

• Experience with highly available and fault-tolerant AWS architectures.

• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes-based deployments.

• Strong scripting/automation skills.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
