Job Description

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Engineer I to deliver high-quality technical support for its fast-paced retail operations. In this role, you will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for associates, partnering closely with operations and engineering teams to keep technology running smoothly. You will manage tickets within defined SLAs, support device deployment and configuration, maintain documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement. Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1-2 technical support for Amazon retail and operations teams across hardware, software, and network issues
  • Troubleshoot Windows, mac
  • OS, Linux, and mobile devices; resolve incidents via ticketing tools within defined SLAs
  • Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices, peripherals, and approved applications
  • Support identity and access management, including account provisioning and permissions changes
  • Monitor systems, escalate complex issues to senior engineers, and contribute to root-cause analysis
  • Document solutions, create and maintain knowledge base articles, and share best practices with peers
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to support deployments and technology rollouts
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, security, and customer experience
