Description

SAIC is seeking an Electrical Engineering Associate to join our team in Huntsville, AL.

The selected candidate will be a member of a highly motivated team providing hardware/software development, integration, and test support to the Systems Simulation, Software, and Integration (S3I) Directorate. Activities will include support of development, testing, and integration of special purpose electronics and cabling of launch vehicles, communications platforms, and rocket systems.

Qualifications

Education Requirement:
  • A degree in related discipline and one year related experience; Or, High School and two (2) years of related experience with relevant certification.

Clearance Requirements:
  • The candidate MUST be able to obtain a SECRET clearance within 90 days of commencement of employment; ship required.

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 years related work experience in a related field.
  • Experience shall include a range of assignments in technical tasks directly related to the proposed area of responsibility.
  • The candidate must have experience related in fabrication, repairing, and testing of electro-mechanical hardware (CCA's, wiring harnesses, cables, test fixtures, LRU's).
  • Must have the ability to read and understand technical drawings. IPC and J-Standard certification a plus but not required.
  • Must understand SMT and PTH soldering and operation of basic test equipment such as multimeters and power supplies.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Windows environment. Must be self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision.
