Role : Senior AI Architect
Location: Hybrid – Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN
Additional Locations: Detroit, MI; Eau Claire, WI; Amarillo, TX
Duration: 12 Months Contract-to-Hire
Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior AI Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready AI solutions aligned with enterprise technology strategy and standards.
This role combines hands-on technical leadership, AI architecture, and solution design. The Senior AI Architect will work closely with data, platform, security, and application engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems and business workflows.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing and implementing AI and Generative AI solutions, along with the ability to translate architectural concepts into working implementations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable AI and Generative AI solutions.
  • Develop architecture patterns and technical solutions for LLM-based and AI-powered applications.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout the design, development, deployment, and optimization of AI solutions.
  • Partner with engineering, data, platform, security, and application teams to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable AI architectures and implementation plans.
  • Contribute to the development and maturity of enterprise AI platforms, architecture patterns, standards, and governance.
  • Evaluate AI technologies, frameworks, and approaches for enterprise use cases.
  • Support AI model development, prototyping, deployment, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure AI solutions follow appropriate security, governance, risk, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Design AI solutions that leverage enterprise data platforms, analytics environments, and data pipelines.
  • Support engineering teams in implementing and optimizing AI solutions in production environments.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience designing and implementing production AI and Generative AI solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM-based systems and AI application development.
  • Experience with AI model development, prototyping, and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of the ML lifecycle, including training, inference, evaluation, and iteration.
  • Experience designing scalable and reliable AI platforms and services.
  • Experience applying AI architecture patterns, standards, and technical guardrails.
  • Experience integrating AI capabilities into existing enterprise systems and workflows.
  • Strong hands-on engineering experience with the ability to move from architecture and conceptual design to working implementations.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and modern software development practices.
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, data platforms, and data quality considerations for AI workloads.
  • Experience designing AI solutions that leverage enterprise data assets and analytics platforms.
  • Understanding of AI governance, security, risk, and enterprise architecture considerations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position. Candidates may initially work primarily remotely depending on location and project requirements. Upon conversion to a full-time position, the role will require a hybrid work arrangement.
