Duration: 18 months+

Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager/Test Lead to support a large-scale servicing modernization program, with primary responsibility for Finance and General Ledger (GL) testing and critical-path testing activities across the program.

This individual will serve as the dedicated testing lead representing the Finance/GL workstream, ensuring that financial impacts, Oracle/GL integrations, data movement, and end-to-end business processes are thoroughly validated. The Test Manager will also help manage critical-path testing across multiple interconnected projects, identifying the testing activities and dependencies that must be completed to support overall program go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated Test Manager/Test Lead for Finance and GL testing within the servicing modernization program.
• Quickly become familiar with the program, existing documentation, business requirements, financial processes, systems, integrations, and project structure.
• Develop and manage comprehensive SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing plans for Finance/GL and related program initiatives.
• Lead testing of Oracle/General Ledger integrations, including validation of financial transactions, accounting data, interfaces, and downstream GL impacts.
• Analyze business and technical requirements, system integrations, and data flows to define test scenarios, validation criteria, and end-to-end testing strategies.
• Identify and manage critical-path testing activities and cross-project dependencies that could affect overall program readiness and go-live.
• Coordinate testing across Finance, business, technology, data, and project teams.
• Ensure data movement between legacy, future-state, servicing, and financial systems is thoroughly validated.
• Analyze complex system, integration, financial, and data defects to identify root causes and assess downstream impacts.
• Track testing milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and defects through resolution.
• Coordinate closely with other Test Managers supporting parallel modernization workstreams.
• Maintain a broader program perspective and proactively identify testing risks or dependencies that could impact Finance/GL or overall program delivery.
• Apply strong project and task management skills to keep testing activities organized and progressing according to schedule.
• Support testing governance, status reporting, readiness assessments, and overall testing rigor throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience, with significant experience leading testing activities on large, complex technology programs.
• Demonstrated experience as a Test Lead, Test Manager, QA Lead, or similar senior testing role.
• Strong Finance and General Ledger testing experience within banking or financial services.
• Hands-on experience testing Oracle financial/GL systems, integrations, or downstream accounting processes.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and managing:
• System Integration Testing (SIT)
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• End-to-end testing
• Test planning and strategy
• Defect and issue management
• Testing governance and status reporting
• Ability to manage detailed testing activities while maintaining visibility into the broader program.
• Experience working across multiple project workstreams and identifying cross-team dependencies.
• Strong organizational, task-management, and project-management capabilities.
• Ability to quickly understand a complex program and work effectively with established project teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Calm, collaborative, solutions-oriented approach in a complex transformation environment.
• Strong attention to detail.

Experience with Jira and Confluence or comparable Agile/project management tools.
