Job Description
My client is looking to hire an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and help them build out a new talent acquisition team. This will be creating the strategy and roadmap for the team and then implementing the global build out.
Please note the client is based in the City of Newcastle and do not offer remote working. It is 5 days a week in the office and will also involve travel to London and existing overseas offices.
Responsibilities:
• Recruitment Oversight : Manage the full recruitment pipeline, collaborating with hiring managers to understand requirements, develop tailored strategies and ensuring efficient processes from sourcing to onboarding.
• Reporting & Analytics: Maintain recruitment metrics and dashboards; generate regular reports to provide insights on hiring performance and recommend strategies to leadership.
• Agency Management: Build and manage relationships with external recruitment agencies; monitor performance and negotiate contracts to optimise results.
• Early Careers Programs: Oversee internship and graduate recruitment programs; establish partnerships with educational institutions to attract top early career talent.
• Direct Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute direct sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates using innovative techniques and technologies.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and lead talent acquisition coordinators, setting performance goals and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align recruitment strategies with business objectives and advise on workforce planning.
• Compliance: Ensure recruitment practices comply with laws, regulations, and internal policies; stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Diversity & Inclusion: Implement strategies to attract diverse talent and monitor diversity metrics, making recommendations for improvement.
Successful candidates will likely have in excess of 6 years proven talent acquisition experience. You will be able to demonstrate a history of leading a team of specialist TA’s and adding value at every stage. Direct experience in the software / financial services sector would be preferred, but my client will consider all industries for quick learners.
