Sr. IT Project Manager - eCommerce Modernization

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a hybrid Senior IT Project Manager - eCommerce Modernization to join their team.

Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale eCommerce modernization initiative. This role will be responsible for guiding project planning, architecture discussions, stakeholder alignment, and execution across the full project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has experience managing multiple eCommerce platform upgrades or modernization efforts, preferably in a B2B environment, and can effectively bridge traditional project management practices with Agile delivery methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end project planning and execution for eCommerce modernization initiatives
* Facilitate discussions with business, technology, architecture, and delivery teams to define project direction and scope
* Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies
* Coordinate architecture and design approval processes and transition projects from planning into execution
* Manage PMO deliverables including status reporting, financial tracking, risk management, and stakeholder communications
* Support Agile delivery teams by working in Jira, assisting with epics, user stories, backlog planning, and sprint activities
* Leverage prior eCommerce modernization experience to provide recommendations and lessons learned throughout the project
* Drive collaboration between business and technical teams to evaluate phased implementation approaches versus large-scale deployments

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience leading complex technology projects from initiation through execution
* Experience managing eCommerce platform modernization, migration, or upgrade initiatives
* Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, governance, and project delivery practices
* Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile environments
* Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Jira
* Ability to facilitate discussions between business and technical stakeholders and drive decision-making
* Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
* Experience creating and maintaining project plans, status reports, risk logs, and project documentation
* Knowledge of Agile concepts including epics, user stories, sprint planning, and backlog management

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
