# Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Architect – Fixed Assets

**Location:** Plano, TX 

**Work Model:** Hybrid – **3 Days Onsite per Week** 

## Position Overview

We are looking for a **strong Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Architect/Lead** with deep hands-on expertise in **Oracle Fixed Assets (FA)** and **Accounts Payable (AP)**.

The hiring manager's **primary area of focus is Fixed Assets**. Candidates must have strong functional knowledge and practical implementation experience with **Oracle Cloud Fixed Assets**.

This is a **Functional-focused role**. Candidates with a purely technical or heavily techno-functional background are **not required**.

## Key Responsibilities

- Lead Oracle Cloud Financials functional solution design workshops with business stakeholders.

- Drive functional solution design with a **strong focus on Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable**.

- Analyze current-state finance processes and design optimized future-state Oracle Cloud processes.

- Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud Financials solutions.

- Review and approve functional designs, configurations, setups, and test scenarios.

- Provide functional guidance on Oracle Cloud Financials best practices, controls, and process standardization.

- Lead solution design and configuration reviews throughout the implementation lifecycle.

- Participate in CRPs, SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-production support.

- Resolve complex business process and functional system design issues.

- Support data conversion, reconciliation, cutover, and migration activities.

- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and reduction of manual finance activities.

- Work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and implementation teams.

- Present functional solutions and recommendations to senior business stakeholders.

## Required Qualifications

- **10+ years of Oracle ERP / Oracle Cloud Financials experience.**

- **Strong Oracle Cloud Fixed Assets (FA) functional expertise – this is the key requirement.**

- Strong functional experience with **Oracle Accounts Payable (AP)**.

- Proven experience as an **Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials Functional Lead / Architect**.

- Experience with **2–3 full-cycle Oracle Cloud ERP implementations**, from requirements through deployment and production support.

- Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Financials configuration, business processes, controls, and best practices.

- Strong understanding of Fixed Assets processes including asset lifecycle, additions, transfers, retirements, depreciation, accounting, and reconciliation.

- Experience working directly with business users and finance stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

- Ability to lead functional discussions and provide recommendations to senior business stakeholders.

## Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a **hands-on Oracle Cloud Financials Functional professional who is particularly strong in Fixed Assets** and has successfully led Oracle Cloud Finance implementations.

**Priority will be given to candidates with:**

- Deep **Oracle Cloud Fixed Assets** experience

- Strong **AP + FA** functional background

- Multiple Oracle Cloud/Fusion Financials implementations

- Strong business-facing and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to independently lead functional solution design

This is not a technical/techno-functional position. The client is specifically seeking a strong Functional Oracle Cloud Financials professional.
