.NET Developer with Workday

Position: Senior .NET Developer with Workday

Duration: 5 months with Extension

Remote Work

Project Focus on:

• Applications: SuperSTAR (50%) and Mercury (50%)
• Stack: .NET Core / Core Web API and Angular
• Focus: UI and reporting remediation, financial/management-information (MI) coding, and consuming data from CEDS (the OneWA enterprise data system) instead of direct Workday access

Required Skills (baseline)

• 10+ years of professional IT experience and 7+ years of advanced application development
• 5+ years of C#/.NET Core, including Core Web API, used within the last 2 years
• 4+ years of Angular (v2+) with TypeScript and RxJS. AngularJS only does not qualify.
• 5+ years of relational database design and advanced SQL, with EF Core or a similar ORM
• Integrating external data through APIs or file exchange, including mapping and validation
• Unit, integration, and regression testing on both front-end and back-end
• Remediating inherited or legacy production code, not only greenfield work
• Code review, mentoring, and ongoing documentation and knowledge transfer
• Secure coding (OWASP, least privilege, logging)

MUST-HAVES (role-specific)

• Complex Angular UI remediation with role-based screens and workflows (employee, supervisor, budget-coordinator views)
• Re-pointing an application from direct system access to an enterprise data feed through .NET Core APIs
• Chart-of-accounts or MI code structures, including mapping and validation
• Developing and modifying financial and management reports, including parameterized reports and exports
• Purchase-request or approval-workflow logic

Preferred Skills

• Embedded reporting (SSRS, Power BI Embedded, or similar)
• Payroll, HR, or budget data domains
• Inter-fund or joint-venture transfer logic
• Restartable data loads and control totals
• OneWA, Workday, or public-sector ERP-readiness experience
• WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA accessibility work in Angular
• Washington State agency experience
