Job Title: Oracle EBS Developer

Location: Redwood City, CA (Hybrid: 2 days in a week onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Developer to support, enhance, and maintain Oracle EBS applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Oracle EBS development, customization, integrations, and reporting, with the ability to work closely with functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite (R12/R12.2) development experience. 
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and performance tuning. 
• Hands-on experience with: 
• Oracle Forms 
• Oracle Reports 
• XML Publisher (BI Publisher) 
• Oracle Workflow 
• Oracle Alerts 
• Oracle Concurrent Programs 
• Experience developing and supporting interfaces using: 
• APIs 
• Open Interface Tables 
• Web Services (SOAP/REST) 
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Application Framework (OAF) customization and extensions. 
• Experience with Oracle Application Object Library (AOL). 
• Familiarity with Oracle Application DBA concepts, including patching and deployments. 
• Experience with Shell scripting and Unix/Linux environments. 
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git. 

Functional Experience

Experience in one or more Oracle EBS modules:

• Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) 
• Procurement (PO, iProcurement) 
• Supply Chain (OM, INV, BOM, WIP) 
• HRMS (preferred but not mandatory) 

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle EBS customizations and extensions. 
• Develop interfaces between Oracle EBS and third-party applications. 
• Create and maintain reports using BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, and SQL. 
• Develop custom PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers. 
• Support data conversions and migration activities. 
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions. 
• Perform code reviews and optimize application performance. 
• Collaborate with functional analysts and business users to gather requirements. 
• Prepare technical design documents and maintain development standards. 
• Participate in upgrades, patching, and release deployments. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a plus. 
• Experience integrating Oracle EBS with cloud applications. 
• Exposure to higher education or university environments is preferred. 
• Oracle EBS certifications are desirable. 
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
