Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager with deep Epic experience to help drive enhancements and delivery of patient engagement and customer relationship management capabilities within a healthcare technology environment. This individual will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, translating business needs into scalable technology solutions and ensuring successful execution throughout the product lifecycle.

This role is ideal for a seasoned product professional who combines strong Epic expertise with product management experience and can operate independently in a complex, cross-functional environment.

Project Overview

The selected consultant will work with business and technology teams to improve customer and patient engagement capabilities within an enterprise healthcare platform. Responsibilities include evaluating business requests, defining product requirements, developing and managing product roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives, and supporting successful delivery of new features and enhancements.

The role focuses on optimizing customer service, digital engagement, and patient-facing experiences through strategic product planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, challenges, and opportunities.


• Translate business requirements into user stories and actionable product requirements.


• Define and maintain product roadmaps, priorities, and backlogs.


• Collaborate closely with technical teams to guide development and delivery efforts.


• Create acceptance criteria and validate completed work against business expectations.


• Identify solution options and provide recommendations for business and technical stakeholders.


• Support Agile delivery practices including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization activities.


• Drive product initiatives from intake through implementation and adoption.


• Manage competing priorities while balancing strategic objectives and day-to-day product delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with Epic Cheers (Epic CRM).


• Strong understanding of Epic workflows and business processes.


• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.


• Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.


• Proven ability to manage product backlogs and prioritize initiatives.


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Preferred Qualifications

• Product Management experience in a healthcare environment.


• Experience with Epic MyChart.


• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.


• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.


• Experience supporting customer engagement, patient engagement, CRM, or digital experience initiatives.


• Epic certification related to applicable modules (current or recently expired certification preferred).
