Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Research Business Systems Analyst to provide functional expertise in Oracle Cloud Grants, Projects, and Accounts Receivable (AR) implementation and support. This role involves analyzing complex business practices, designing technology-based solutions, and ensuring successful system implementations. The incumbent will act as a technical leader, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing advanced support for enterprise financial and administrative systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily end-user support and triage of complex system issues using incident management and ticketing systems.
• Conduct extensive data analysis and system integrity reviews.
• Gather and document operational requirements from end users and stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications for coordination with development teams.
• Execute activities within established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) procedures, including design, documentation, fixes, enhancements, and upgrades.
• Support new implementations and functionality across financial and administrative systems.
• Lead or collaborate on cross-functional teams to resolve complex business or system issues.
• Create training materials and support change management initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security, and organizational standards.

Scope of Systems Supported

• Core Applications: PeopleSoft modules for Grants, Contracts, Projects, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger.
• Additional Integrations: Student AR, Sundry Billing, and related applications supporting research and administrative functions.
• Oracle Cloud: Grants, Projects, and AR modules.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis or enterprise application support.
• Functional expertise in Oracle Cloud Grants, Projects, and AR.
• Experience with PeopleSoft financial modules and related integrations.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of SDLC methodologies.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy.
