Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master with recent Oil & Gas industry experience to support enterprise technology and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Agile delivery experience, a proven track record leading multiple Scrum teams, and experience working with complex enterprise programs.

This is a long-term, fully remote W2 opportunity. Candidates from all work authorization categories are welcome, provided they meet the experience requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience applying Agile methodologies, including Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Recent Oil & Gas, Energy, Petroleum, Refining, Pipeline, or related industry experience is required.
• Proven experience as a Senior Scrum Master supporting multiple Agile teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Experience with SAFe, scaled Agile environments, Program Increment (PI) Planning, and cross-team dependency management.
• Experience coordinating with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), program managers, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Jira for backlog management, sprint tracking, dashboards, reporting, and delivery metrics.
• Strong experience removing impediments, managing delivery risks, resolving conflicts, and driving continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise technology initiatives and distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Oil & Gas, refining, petroleum, energy delivery, pipelines, utilities, or industrial operations.
• Experience supporting digital transformation, enterprise modernization, or large-scale technology programs.
• Exposure to SAP, cloud, data analytics, cybersecurity, infrastructure, SCADA, or operational technology.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile certifications.

Work Location

This position is fully remote within the USA. Candidates able to work hybrid onsite in San Antonio, Texas, or Findlay, Ohio, may also be considered.
