We're hiring on behalf of a major player in the defence and aerospace industry, known for its significant contributions to national security and its commitment to innovation. This employer is seeking a Procurement Professional to support a large-scale, long-term investment program.

The Role

• Develop sourcing and contracting solutions for significant investment programmes.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and liabilities within procurement strategies.
• Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including tender development, evaluation, and award.
• Negotiate commercial aspects with suppliers to achieve optimal business outcomes.
• Support the development and implementation of supply chain strategies.
• Provide commercial and supply chain support to delivery programmes.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience in supply chain, particularly within facilities management or infrastructure.
• Experience leading or supporting procurements based on specifications for design, manufacture, or build.
• Solid understanding of procurement approaches, processes, policy, and strategy.
• Experience in contract and supplier performance management.
• Ideally, a CIPS qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in public sector or regulated environments is a plus.
