Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a Business Analyst to join a strategic customer segmentation initiative. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and technology partners to define customer-focused solutions, gather and document requirements, and drive projects from concept through implementation.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience eliciting business requirements from diverse stakeholder groups, translating business needs into functional requirements, and supporting enterprise data initiatives. This position requires excellent communication skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to work across multiple business units in a complex environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in complex enterprise environments
• Proven experience gathering requirements from multiple stakeholder groups and business units
• Strong ability to translate business objectives into detailed functional requirements and user stories
• Experience creating and maintaining business requirements documentation and process flows
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience supporting technology and data-related projects
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar requirements management tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to navigate complex organizations and align competing priorities across teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries
• Background supporting customer segmentation, customer analytics, CRM, or customer data initiatives
• Understanding of data sourcing, data quality, data governance, and data availability concepts
• Experience collaborating with geographically dispersed teams across multiple time zones
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum delivery frameworks

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
