Pay Range: $55-$60/hr


Experience: 0 5 years


The position of Application Developer requires specialized knowledge in computer science, engineering, and information technology. The minimum requirement is a bachelor s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related field, which provides the analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills necessary to perform the duties of the position.


Job Responsibilities




  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Java and related technologies.




  • Develop and maintain application components, APIs, and backend services based on business and technical requirements.




  • Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented Java code following established development standards.




  • Develop basic scripts and utilities using Python to support application development, automation, data processing, and troubleshooting activities.




  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.




  • Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.




  • Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and functional testing to ensure application quality and reliability.




  • Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes and enhancements.




  • Work with databases and write basic to intermediate SQL queries for application development and data validation.




  • Integrate applications with internal and third-party systems through APIs and web services.




  • Collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.




  • Participate in code reviews and follow established coding, security, version-control, and documentation standards.




  • Use source control tools such as Git to manage and maintain application code.




  • Assist with application deployments, configuration, monitoring, and production support activities.




  • Continuously learn and apply new technologies, development practices, and tools to improve application performance and maintainability.




  • Document technical solutions, application changes, and development processes as required.
