$60,000 – $65,000 base + commission

For over 30 years, Taylor Agency, LLC located in Ridgeland, MS, has delivered quality insurance solutions, providing employee benefits to local businesses and our sister payroll company. We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to succeed a long-tenured leader and drive outside sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
Drive outside sales through cold calling, networking, and community events to sell Life, Health, Sickness, and Property & Casualty (P&C) products.

Client Engagement

Conduct needs analyses, present tailored coverage, negotiate policy terms, and cross-sell/upsell products.

Team & Operations Management

Build a sales team, maintain CRM records, handle sales documentation, and support benefits administration.

Service & Compliance

Deliver prompt client support, assist with claims/policy updates, and ensure full compliance with insurance regulations and HIPAA standards.

Requirements
Licensing:
Active Life & Health (L&H)
AND
Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance licenses.

Experience

2-5 years of proven outside sales experience in the insurance industry is preferred but not required.

Industry Knowledge

Deep understanding of health, life, commercial, and P&C policies, along with HIPAA and regulatory standards.

Skills

Strong negotiation, analysis, CRM software, and Microsoft Office skills; ability to simplify complex policies for clients.

Attributes

Self-motivated, independent worker with excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.

Preferred

Familiarity with payroll process workflows.
