Project Manager III

Position: Project Manager 3
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote) Locals Only
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Experience: 15+

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of IT Project Management experience
• Experience leading Hardware Deployment, Laptop Refresh, or Enterprise Device Rollout projects
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, PMBOK, Agile, Change Management, and IT Operations
• Experience managing vendors and cross-functional teams
• MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams expertise
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred:

• PMP, CSM, or ITIL Certification
• Texas State Agency experience
• Statewide IT project experience
• Experience managing deployments of 800+ devices

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Laptop Refresh Project delivery
• Manage project scope, schedule, risks, and deliverables
• Coordinate deployment logistics and resource assignments
• Track deployment progress and resolve blockers
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and stakeholder communications
• Maintain project documentation and RAID logs
