Key Responsibilities

System Configuration: Manage all aspects of the FASTDS-VS® COTS application, including reference table configurations and role-based access control setups.
Requirements & Analysis: Lead requirement gathering sessions, translating business needs into technical specifications and application changes.
Development & Debugging: Execute application development for requested changes, scripting, software debugging, and source control management.
Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous application testing and prepare detailed implementation specifications.
Production Support: Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for the live production environment.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, or Mathematics preferred).
Database Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience working with a SQL database.
Development Experience: 2+ years of Object-Oriented (OO) development experience utilizing .Net, Java, C#, or VB.
Methodology: Working knowledge of software development methodologies (both traditional and Agile), industry standards, and coding best practices.
Technical Tools: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
