Sr. IT Business Analyst

The analyst will serve as the primary subject matter expert for KOALA, working closely with Child Care Services (CCS), Legal/CRC teams, application development teams, and third-party vendors.
The role will focus on business requirements, application enhancements, testing, production support, documentation, and stakeholder coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary SME for KOALA application functionality and business operations. Analyze business needs and translate stakeholder requirements into detailed business and system requirements. Develop and maintain requirements, process documentation, and system documentation. Coordinate KOALA maintenance, production support, and enhancement activities. Work with business users, Legal/CRC teams, developers, and vendors to ensure successful delivery. Develop test plans, test cases, and test data and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Support application enhancements throughout the full project lifecycle, from requirements through implementation and evaluation. Create user training materials, including screenshots, instructions, and process guidance. Fulfill data requests and assist with data analysis and validation. Identify issues, assess business impact, and communicate risks or required actions. Participate in meetings and coordinate activities across business and technical teams. Ensure application functionality and requirements align with business needs and applicable standards.

Required Qualifications: Strong experience as an IT Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst for 10 years
Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business requirements.
Experience supporting IT projects and application enhancements.
Experience with UAT, test planning, and system testing.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
