Data Analytics Consultant

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Analyst for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ, Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
The candidate will work across Engineering organizations within Application Production Services Engineering to quantify and measure the overall effectiveness of the organization. This role involves collecting and normalizing key metrics to be published and consumed by senior management, using data to communicate the value of the organization to leadership and CIO partners.
Responsibilities:

• Work across engineering organizations to quantify and measure overall effectiveness
• Collect, normalize, and publish key metrics for senior management consumption
• Use data to tell a story to market, optimize, and clearly provide the value of the organization
• Help communicate key messages to the Senior Leadership Team and respective CIO Partners
• Adapt to new processes and technologies as the business evolves

Requirements:

• 2 years of Data Analytics experience or MBA/Masters Equivalency
• Ability to analyze large datasets and normalize them in a consumable way for executive management
• Proven ability to work as a team leader, bringing different points of view to converge on a single aligned message
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Microsoft PowerBI or Salesforce Tableau
• Knowledge of Python or other data modeling languages
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira
• A critical thinker who can communicate effectively across different levels in the organization

Pay range: $63.68 - $71.68 per hour
