Director, FP&A - Global Commercial Finance & Analytics - Foster City, CA

Gilead Sciences seeks a Director of FP&A to lead global commercial financial planning, forecasting, consolidation, and analytics. The role partners with regional and cross-functional teams to deliver executive insights, strengthen financial controls, and drive digital finance innovation across the worldwide commercial organization.

Responsibilities
Lead global revenue forecasting, consolidation, and variance analysis across products and regions
Serve as primary FP&A liaison for US and ACE regions, translating submissions into integrated global insights
Oversee financial controls, data integrity, and governance for revenue and operating expense reporting
Support long-range planning, scenario analysis, and strategic financial modeling for executive review
Champion digital finance innovation and lead AI adoption efforts to improve forecasting and reporting efficiency
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 12+ years relevant experience, or Master's with 10+, or PhD with 8+
Extensive FP&A experience in revenue forecasting, consolidation, planning, and reporting
Demonstrated ability to partner across regional and cross-functional finance teams
Strong knowledge of financial controls, data governance, and audit documentation
Advanced analytical skills including scenario modeling and profitability assessment
Experience leading digital finance, AI, automation, and analytics initiatives
