As the Director of Human Resources, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company.

You'll work to maintain and improve processes, create and manage programs that support efficiency and employee engagement, handle payroll and benefits administration, and support managers as they lead and manage their teams. This role is both hands on, helping individuals navigate their employment and career path, and consultative, guiding managers and executives in decision making that is equitable, compliant, and aligned with the dealership's vision for a thriving team.

As our Director of Human Resources, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things HR, ensuring our team members feel supported and empowered. Serve as a trusted advisor for discussions around conflict resolution, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions. Right Person, Right Seat Analysis:
Work with Executive Leadership monthly to ensure the org chart is up to date, evaluate role efficacy, and address personnel concerns and opportunities for growth.

Leave of Absence Programs

Assist employees in navigating and administering leave programs (Paid Leave Oregon, OFLA , FMLA), advising them on next steps, completing appropriate paperwork, and ensuring compliance with laws and policies.

Payroll

Process payroll accurately and on time, staying compliant with wage and hour regulations.

Unemployment & Workers Comp Claims

Handle unemployment and worker’s compensation claims with accurate documentation and timely responses to agencies.

Compliance

Stay up to date with Oregon employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance across all HR activities. Manage annual compliance calendar to track and complete necessary reporting and information distribution.

Performance Reviews

Administer performance review cycle, managing review cadence for teams, overseeing documentation of quarterly and annual reviews, and equipping managers with tools for giving feedback consistently and fairly.

Handbook & Policy

Responsible for the Employee Handbook to be updated and redistributed via HRIS on an annual basis. Advising managers and employees on policy guidelines and ensuring that processes are understood and implemented. Receiving feedback from team on policies and implementing changes as needed.

HRIS Management

Administer all functions of our HRIS system, managing settings, permissions, employee data, and employee processes.

Employee Engagement

Collaborate with the Executive Leadership to issue annual employee engagement surveys, analyze the results, and create initiatives for improvement. As the Director of HR, you will also look at the broader team through the lens of GWC and will set goals and create processes in alignment with EOS® methodologies. Gets it:
