Technical Business Analyst PAM

• Initial contract until 30/04/2027 paying approx. $102.31/hr
• Brisbane CBD location with flexibility to WFH 2 days per week
• Lead current-state technical discovery and documentation of privileged access processes

Our client, a Queensland State Government department, are currently seeking a Techical Business Analyst for an initial contract until 30/04/2027.

As the Technical Business Analyst within the Digital MarketPlace Keeper Privileged Access Management project team, you will lead the current-state analysis, future-state requirements and operational process work needed to support the successful implementation of Keeper PAM.

This role is primarily a technical business analysis role with some project support responsibilities. You will work directly with privileged access users, technical specialists and operational teams to understand how administrative access works today, identify gaps and pain points and convert these into clear future-state requirements, process flows and acceptance criteria.You will maintain traceability from requirements through design, implementation, testing and operational handover. You will also keep the project machinery moving by maintaining the schedule, RAID, action and decision registers, coordinating workshops and meetings and supporting the Project Manager with evidence and concise status information.You will work alongside CITEC Linux, Microsoft identity and Windows, SQL, networking and F5, Security, Splunk, storage, Architecture and Service Operations teams, the Keeper PAM technical resource and Keeper Security. The Director, Digital MarketPlace will retain Project Manager accountability for scope, priorities, governance, escalation, funding and overall delivery.

• Lead current-state technical discovery and documentation of privileged access processes, including administrative access pathways, credential handling, approvals, authentication, break-glass arrangements, RDP and SSH use, session recording and operational support practices.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews with technical and operational stakeholders and convert findings into clear process maps, business and operational requirements, use cases, acceptance criteria and decision records.
• Define and maintain future-state Keeper PAM business and technical requirements and requirements traceability through solution design, configuration, testing, production acceptance and BAU handover.
• Support functional and operational testing by preparing scenarios and acceptance criteria, coordinating validation, tracking defects and ensuring outcomes are recorded against requirements.
• Assist to maintain the integrated project schedule, RAID register, action and decision registers, dependencies, meeting records, document register and milestone evidence and actively follow up actions across workstreams.
• Support operational readiness, training, communications, support model definition, procedures, knowledge transfer, Cyber Security Fund reporting and project closure while keeping the Project Manager informed of exceptions requiring decision or escalation.

Role requirements:

• Relevant business analysis, project management, cyber security or identity certifications are highly regarded.
• Minimum 7+ years experience in large scale environments.

To succeed in this role, you will need knowledge and experience in the following technologies:

• Strong experience in business analysis techniques including requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, process mapping, current-state and future-state analysis, use cases, acceptance criteria and requirements traceability.
• Working knowledge of enterprise technologies such as Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, RDP, SSH, networking and high availability sufficient to analyse and document
• Experience analysing enterprise infrastructure, identity, privileged access or cyber security processes involving multiple technical and operational teams.
• Experience documenting privileged or administrative access workflows, authentication, approvals, credentials, exception and break-glass processes or comparable security control processes would be advantageous.
• Experience supporting system, operational or user acceptance testing including test scenarios, validation coordination, defect tracking and evidence management.
• Strong project support capability including schedule maintenance, RAID, actions, decisions, dependencies, meeting coordination, document control and milestone evidence. requirements with technical teams.
• Experience with privileged access management, identity and access management, Keeper PAM or another enterprise PAM platform would be highly advantageous.
• Experience preparing operational procedures, support models, roles and responsibilities, knowledge transfer material and BAU handover documentation.
