Job Title: Snowflake Engineer (Informatica ETL)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Snowflake Engineer with strong, hands-on Informatica experience to design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines that integrate and transform data into Snowflake. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Cloud (IICS), along with solid Snowflake development and performance tuning skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows in Informatica PowerCenter and/or IICS to load and transform data into Snowflake
• Build and manage Informatica mappings, sessions, workflows, and mapplets for complex data integration tasks
• Develop and optimize Snowflake objects (tables, views, stored procedures, tasks, streams) to support downstream data needs
• Integrate data from multiple source systems (databases, flat files, APIs, cloud platforms) using Informatica
• Tune Informatica jobs and Snowflake queries for performance and efficiency
• Implement data quality, validation, and error-handling processes within Informatica workflows
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Informatica ETL jobs and Snowflake pipelines
• Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Maintain technical documentation for ETL mappings, data flows, and Snowflake schemas
• Support data governance practices, including metadata management and data lineage tracking (Informatica Axon/EDC a plus)

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Cloud (IICS) for ETL development
• 4+ years of experience with Snowflake (data warehousing, SQL, performance tuning, architecture)
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience optimizing complex queries
• Experience designing and maintaining Informatica mappings, workflows, and sessions
• Experience with data modeling (star/snowflake schema) and dimensional data warehousing concepts
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience with API integrations and workflow automation
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Informatica Data Governance tools (Axon, EDC, IDQ)
• Knowledge of Python or scripting languages for automation
• Experience with Snowflake features such as Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, and Zero-Copy Cloning
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
