Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Failure Analysis (FA) Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience, specifically working on server boards, motherboards, and other complex hardware designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform failure analysis and root-cause investigation on server boards, motherboards, and complex hardware designs.
  • Debug board-level and system-level hardware failures.
  • Analyze failed units using structured troubleshooting and FA methodologies.
  • Work closely with design, validation, manufacturing, quality, and test engineering teams.
  • Identify failure mechanisms and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
  • Analyze test results, hardware behavior, logs, and component-level issues.
  • Support production, reliability, and new product introduction activities.
  • Document FA findings and provide clear technical reports.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5+ years of Failure Analysis experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience performing FA on server boards / motherboards / complex PCB designs.
  • Strong hardware debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with board-level and component-level failure analysis.
  • Good understanding of electronic components, circuits, PCBs, and system hardware.
  • Experience with root-cause analysis and corrective-action processes.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred: Experience in semiconductor, server, GPU, high-performance computing, or complex electronics environments.
